The eight brands it will showcase at the fair on February 26 at Italthai Centre Mahachai are Volvo, SDLG, Tadano, Yutong, Bobcat, Dusan, Atlas Copco, and PowerScreen.

The event will unveil the latest products from these brands and provide construction-equipment testing for interested potential customers.

This year, ITI will be focusing on new products for the mining and road-construction industries, the upstream businesses for infrastructure construction, in order to serve the growing demands from these industries in Thailand and elsewhere in the Asean Economic Community.

On display will be backhoes, compactors, roller-compactors and trucks.

For instance, the eco-mode Volvo EC210D is equipped with four work modes and a special “Power Boost Mode” that enables extra-powerful digging performance. The high performance Volvo SD100B compactor can save fuel consumption by 20 per cent.

The new Yutong truck for the mining industry comes with a heavy-duty load container designed for high pressure, high impacts, and high load weights. It is available in three load capacities – 30, 40 and 60 tonnes.

Highlights of after-sales services include a customer-support agreement after termination of insurance coverage (Volvo CSA), a range of re-manufacturing services for genuine parts (Volvo Reman), and a seminar led by a Chevron lubricant expert including performance testing of a lubricant designed specifically for Volvo heavy-duty machinery. Participants will have a chance to win various prizes.
