“SUSTAINABLE BRANDS 2016 Bangkok” (SB’16 Bangkok), a world-class conference held every two years, is set to gather over 40 brand-builders from around the world, with more than 60 case studies up for discussion.
Sirikul Laokaikul, leader of the conference, which takes place in Thailand for the second time, said the brand and marketing conference was first held 10 years ago with the gathering of business people who gave importance to brand-building with social responsibility, sustainability.
This year’s event will be held during October 11-13 at the Millennium Hilton Hotel in Bangkok under the “Activating Purpose” theme, encouraging brands to rethink the real business goal and engage in brand-building to benefit business and society as a whole.
“The event will harmonise international and local knowledge in an attempt to exchange views and build business sustainability through professionals in each field. That’s why ‘SB’16 Bangkok’ is designed to suit everybody who is interested in business trends and wants to build sustainability for future success.
“Not only people working in the sustainability and corporate social responsibility field, but also those related to brand strategy, communications, design and innovation, supply chain and human resource, as well as the new generation, who believe in business sustainability can attend and share a vision to build a better business future,” Sirikul explained.
Attendees will be inspired to create innovation to build and strengthen brands in line with developing social sustainability, he said, adding that this would also benefit Thailand in terms of being accepted as a hub of sustainability in Asean.
More than 600 people are expected to attend this year’s conference, including 40 famous brand-builders and representatives of over 60 brands.
‘SB’16 Bangkok’ will highlight four factors to help brands achieve their business goals, enhance efficiency and increase profits:
Purpose: Learn how to use “goal” to make your brand successful.
Platform: Learn how to “build” organisation to have a clear stance and business goal.
People: Learn how to “communicate” the goal of the brand effectively to convince and engage all stakeholders.
Performance: Learn how to “change” the business goal into an execution plan and measure its results.
Among the foremost brand-builders at the event will be country guests from Japan’s Fujitsu, Thai Takenaka International and Fuji Xerox, while top Thai speakers – including Rungroj Rangsiyopas, president and chief executive officer of Siam Cement Group, Tevin Vongvanich, CEO of PTT, Khun Kalin Sarasin, chairman of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, and Wasit Tae-paisitpong, CEO of Betagro Group – will share their knowledge and experience related to business and marketing strategies that can help shape sustainability and success.
