The four-day ITU Telecom World 2016 starts at Impact Arena, Exhibition and Convention Centre in Bangkok today.
The event is the global technology platform for governments, established companies and small and medium-sized enterprises and is organised by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).
The ITU is the United Nations’ agency for information and communication technologies.
ITU Telecom World 2016 is focused on growing digital economies and supporting the important role of SMEs in ICT ecosystems.
It also aims to increase social and economic development through technology for the good of communities – accelerating growth to make the world better, sooner.
