He said that today’s business and technology trends are geared towards digital transformation. As a result, emerging platform technologies have shaped developments such as Cloud, Big Data Analytics, Social Network Mobility, Internet of Thing (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to support new business formats. As well, they enhance the capacity and capabilities of private and public organisations, placing importance on applications for effective entry into the digital age to compete with global competition.

Based on the information from the Internet Data Centre Thailand, the number of organisations planning to implement digital transformation will double in 2020 from the current 22 per cent to 50 per cent.

This is relevant to the company’s technology development strategy in supporting businesses to seamlessly adjust to the |digital transformation trend |and operate with higher efficiency.

Over the past three years, the company has recorded 100 per cent growth in the OneWeb platform. He said that growth is expected to achieve more than 20 per cent in 2017, fuelled by business segments moving towards digital transformation.

The major customer base of the company consists of finance, banking and insurance with an expansion to healthcare and education.
