Prima Marine takes 70% stake in Big Sea

Prima Marine Plc has signed an agreement to take a 70 per cent stake, worth about Bt2.9 billion, in Big Sea Co Ltd, the company’s chief executive officer Chanwit Anakkul said yesterday, adding that the remaining 30 per cent in Big Sea will be acquired over the next three years.
At the end of year 2017, Big Sea Co Ltd recorded a total revenue of Bt596 million and Bt110 million in net profit.
Prima Marine Plc recorded a total revenue of Bt4.69 billion and Bt717 million in net profit last year, according to the company’s report to the Stock Exchange of Thailand.
