Six Thai designers add funky designs to the plain white T-shirt

THE THAITHAI fashion zone at Central Chidlom teams with Sunglass Hut in marking the arrival of summer by setting up a brand new fashion zone and inviting 14 leading Thai brands to showcase designs with a travel theme.

Running from Tuesday to next Sunday, a sidebar display features a series of limited-edition T-shirts with motifs by Anchavika, Asava, ASV, Janesuda, Kloset, Vatanika and Vickteerut on the theme “Summer on Board 2018”.

Anchavika’s T-shirt features a tiger wearing shades.

Anchalee Vikasidnakhakun from Anchavika plays with her brand’s logo the Tiger Queen by giving her felines trendy shades.

Designer Polpat Asavaprapha of Asava and ASV offers a simple yet smart look by screening catch phrases such as “Beauty dose not ask for attention” and “Born to Shine” over a Californian sunset. Janesuda Parnto presents a lively floral motif while Mollika Ruangkritya, the founder of Kloset, creates a collection of easy-to-mix-and match T-shirts screened with an plane flying across the globe.

ASV screens a message on a vibrant background.

Onpraphan Suttinoraseth from Vickteerut, meanwhile, narrates a luxury holiday on the beach through trendy typography. Each tee is priced at Bt390 and shoppers can show their Central receipt to get a Bt100 discount.

Vickteerut’s tee combines a beach vibe with typography.
