Steven Klein gives the latest shades their adventuring spirit
RAY-BAN HAS once again collaborated with renowned American photographer Steven Klein to create a sales campaign that reflects four different characters through its eyewear designs – Marshal, Wayfarer Blaze, Aviator Evolve and Hexagonal.
The theme is about the liberating force of the road trip, interpreted as a metaphorical escape from the constraints of modern society. Alongside the images, the campaign also features four separate character videos and additional digital content, revealing more about the protagonists’ unique personal odysseys.

The Marshal (RB3648), Bt6,800
The Marshal (RB3648), launched in 1987, is the modern take on the tribute to Field Marshal Douglas MacArthur, the American hero-commander of World War II. With the straitjacket of the city in the rear-view mirror, the protagonist drives into a never-ending sunset.
The Wayfarer Blaze (RB4440N) boasts mirror block reinvention of the ’50s design so beloved of musicians, celebrities and adventurers.
A protagonist on a journey of self-discovery wears Hexagonal (RX7151) sunglasses. This new acetate optical shape gives the hexagon a new dimension and features contemporary angles and a vintage keyhole bridge, plus the classic Ray-Ban rivets and temple logos.

Aviator Evolve (RB3025), Bt7,700
Hitching a trip to everywhere, the protagonist dons the Aviator Evolve (RB3025), re-imagined with photochromatic washed lenses that change colour density with the light. Pink lenses recall flamboyant ’70s eyewear trends.
