EGCO reports big profit for 2017

Electricity Generating Public Co Ltd, or EGCO Group, recorded a Bt11.818 billion net profit in 2017 and is expected to pay a final dividend of Bt3.50 per share.
The company’s president, Jakgrich Pibulpairoj, said on Monday that EGCO would continue to focus on pursuing power business opportunities in the Asia Pacific region.
Its target is to grow its renewables portfolio to 30 per cent by 2026.
