The channel will link six state agencies: the departments of Industrial Works, Agriculture, Fisheries, Livestock Development and Energy, as well as the Food and Drug Administration.

Applicants can request to register the hazardous substance, produce such a substance, or import and export the substance. Currently they have to go to each of these state agencies to make the requests.

In the future the channel will be the centre of information, providing a list of over 1,500 hazardous items, chemical information, as part of its promotion of knowledge to the general public and the companies in the related business.
