Joint panel ups forecast range for this year’s GDP growth to 4.4-4.8%

The Joint Standing Committee on Commerce, Industry and Banking on Tuesday revised upwards its forecast for this year’s growth in gross domestic product to between 4.4 per cent and 4.8 per cent.

The committee’s previous prediction was for GDP growth of 4.3 to 4.8 per cent.
