Driving Toyota Vitz 1,500cc Chanincha was the only Thai to qualify for the final round while countryman Buddhamont Thanaphasuk of CFON Racing Team failed to emulate him.

Chaninchai started the grid at 47^th and after completing the 52km course, he managed to settle at 41^st among 53 competitors.

“This is a very tough circuit. I’ve learned a lot of techniques from this race. Only a small mistake at one corner can make a difference,” Chaninchai said.
