Bt1 bn investment to build 3,000 charge stations

The Board of Investment (BOI) has approved a Bt1.092 billion investment in Energy Mahanakhon Co Ltd to build up to 3,000 electric charge stations nationwide.
This will help encourage people to buy up to 1.2 million plug-in hybrid electric vehicle and battery electric vehicles by the year 2021, BOI’s deputy secretary-general Chokedee Kaewsang said yesterday.
