Mongolian Batmunkh steals the show in 4th stage

Mongolia’s Maral-Erdene Batmunkh dominated the fourth stage individual classification of the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s Cup Tour of Thailand 2019 on Wednesday.
The Mongolian timed 3:50.30 hours to win the Nan-Phayao route which covered a distance of 145.50km.
Columbia’s Felix Alejandro Baron Castillo and France’s Thomas Lebas followed a fraction of second behind to finish second and third respectively.
In the stage best Asean rider event, local cyclist Sarawut Sirironnachai did not let his fans down as he timed 3:50:31 hours to win a special Bt10,000 reward from Thai Cycling Association’s president Gen Decha Hemkrasi.
The Friday’s fifth stage (164.03km) will start in Phayao this morning and will finish in Lampang.
