Cavanagh’s best time of 24:07.16 hours earned him the pink jersy after the sixth and final stage from Lampang to Chiang Mai which covered a distance of 116 kilometers.

Coming at second was Marcos Garcia Fernandez who timed 24:12.11 hours with Frenchman Thomas Lebas closing the top three with 24:12:27.

The final stage was won by Estonian Martin Laas following his record of 2:33.23 hours.

The best Asean Rider title went to Filipino Marcelo Felipe who timed 24:13:50.

Thailand Continental Cycling Team won the Best Asean Team category with a total time of 73:08.54 hours.

After Sunday break, the three-stage women’s tour, featuring 16 teams, starts on April 8.

The 247.80km women’s race takes place in Chiang Mai on day one, Chiang Mai-Lamphun on April 9 and Chiang Mai on April 10.
