The Thai National Team kicked their way into the semi-finals of the AFF Championship after beating the Philippines 2-1 on Tuesday. Captain and forward Teerasil Dangda scored two goals for the team and became the all-time top scorer of the competition with 19 goals.

Thailand will now lock horns with Singapore on Saturday at 7.30pm in the last game of the group, which will decide which team grabs first place in this stage.
