The law, which has been published in the Royal Gazette, stipulates in article 8/1 that pregnant prisoners must be given appropriate aid and medical care.

Officials must transport pregnant inmates to receive prenatal care at a nearby hospital or medical facility and consider granting permission for the inmate to give birth outside prison, if necessary. After the birth, the inmate could rest and recover outside for up to seven days, while an extension would require an opinion from a medical professional sent to prison officials. The time the inmate spends giving birth and recovery outside prison would also be counted as part of her term. Article 8/2 also requires prisons to provide health and nutrition information, sufficient meals at appropriate times, while not obstructing child care.
