The suspects – identified as Kwanchai Yaemto, 39, Phankhacha Klongkratha, 42, Somkiat Phakikhao, 20 and an 18-year-old man – were presented at a city police press conference yesterday for the murder Theera Phromkhot, 30, whose body was found in the canal on Friday.

The first two were arrested near Hua Lamphong Train Station on Sunday, and the latter pair nabbed in Prachuap Khiri Khan on the same day – after a police investigation tracked them from security camera footage at the scene and nearby areas.

The four men claimed that they were drunk when they encountered Theera, resulting in an argument and the deadly assault.
