The teenager, still shaken, said yesterday that she did not try to resist for fear that her attackers could turn more violent.

She was taken by her aunt to Chalerm Phrakiat Police Station to provide more information after lodging a complaint on Thursday, when she was accompanied by her grandparents.

A video of the assault went viral, quickly catching public attention and the media spotlight.

Police then arrested 11 female suspects aged from 15 to 21.

Some of them, including alleged gang leader Sawitree Dokjanklang, were released on bail. Sawitree is allegedly planning to take revenge on the person who leaked the video.

She allegedly made a threat via Facebook, a source said.

It read, “Mind you. When I see you, I will draw blood from you. Watch out.”

According to police, Sawitree is 21 years old but most of the other alleged attackers are minors under 18 years of age.
