Police are preparing to seek arrest warrants for many more men on suspicion they took part in the raid on Joh I Rong hospital in Narathiwat province last month.
An ongoing investigation has found as many as 52 armed people were involved in the shocking operation.
The raid was the first on a medical facility since unrest plaguing the deep South flared more than a decade ago.
“There have been just two arrest warrants for this case to date, so we will request arrest warrants for other suspects soon,” Narathiwat police chief Maj-General Pattanawut Angkhanawin said.
He said many of the guns used in the raid were used in five other security-related cases.
Police deputy spokesman Colonel Krisana Pattanacharoen said raid suspect Abdulkaree Hawae was also wanted for seven other security-related cases.
