Police believe a group of state officials were its intended target. They were inspecting the site of a previous explosion on Sunday night that slightly wounded six police. Authorities blamed the ongoing unrest as the motive behind the attacks.

After the evening bombing opposite Than To Hospital, police and a bomb squad yesterday inspected the scene and blocked the inbound lane. As they collected bomb fragments they spotted the second bomb and defused it safely.
