The two studios will deliver bite-sized news on current affairs, political developments, human interest and lifestyle stories in under 10 minutes. The new undertaking takes cooperation between two major media in the region to another level.

TheStarTV.com is part of Star Media Group of Malaysia, and Nation TV, Thailand’s top TV news station, is under Nation Broadcasting Corporation.

Star Media Group journalists Dina Murad, Victoria Brown and Danial Albakri will take turns presenting highlights from countries in the lower Asean region, while their Nation TV counterparts in Bangkok, Phatsurang Dechabuddharungsi and Sathapat Phaethong, will present updates from the upper Asean region.

“Nation TV The Weekly Wrap”, launched last year, is the first joint production of Star Media Group and Nation TV. The revamped show has a fresh new look and improved graphics.
