Prosecutor Krissada Rojanasuwan said Jenpop, who had been detained for five rounds – out of the legal limit of seven rounds – had requested the prosecutor interview his doctors at Samitivej Hospital and Chaophya Hospital over his mental state and use his medical records in the case. Krissada agreed to Jenpop’s request and has completed the draft for prosecution. He affirmed the case would proceed according to evidence to ensure justice for all sides.

Police had recommended the prosecutor file eight charges against Jenpop including: reckless driving resulting in death and property damage; driving while impaired; driving under the influence of substances resulting in death; speeding; and resisting a police alcohol test.
