She urged people to beware of dengue risks and to eradicate any breeding grounds for mosquitoes near their home. “The rainy season has started and usually it raises dengue-fever risks,” she said.

Duangporn said it was estimated that dengue fever would hit some 30,000 Bangkok residents this year.
