Chirapat said that he liked to control the drone to observe views of his community and his Kasetsart University Laboratory School.

Chirapat demonstrated the drone remote control in front of Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha, who also tried to control it but failed, with the drone crashing into the building and falling to the ground.

“But the PM was doing rather very good job,” Chirapat said later. “He had never controlled it before, but his skills were good.”

Chirapat visited the premier as part of a campaign to promote knowledge building outside the classroom. The campaign is organised jointly by the Office of Knowledge Management and Development, the Royal Thai Air Force Museum, the Botanical Garden Organisation, the National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand, the Science Centre for Education, and the Department of Mineral Resources.
