The State Railway of Thailand launched a “Big Cleaning Day” at the station which saw officials pick up garbage inside the station and workers spray water to clean train compartments. All the trains there and the platforms also got a cleaning for the historic occasion.

Travellers continued to use Bangkok’s Hua Lamphong Train Station on Monday even as railway officials and workers spruced up the premises.

The station that is one of Bangkok’s best-known landmarks is installed install an additional part of the roof to provide more shade to commuters.
