In the first case, Sarawuth Kesornbua and Narongsak Somboon, both 25, and Pattama Homlei, 29, were arrested along with 2.09 million yaba pills, 52kg of “ice” and 50kg of ketamine in Nonthaburi’s Bang Yai district on Saturday. The arrest followed a tip-off about a drug gang’s delivery at a Bang Yai mall.

In the second case, Padaedu Sribaina, 30, and Chalerm Medtho, 26, were arrested along with 100,000 yaba pills in Chiang Mai‘s Hot district last Thursday in a police sting operation.

In a third case on the same day, 800,000 yaba pills were seized from a Honda City sedan in Suphan Buri’s U Thong district. Police said drug dealers had abandoned the car in an isolated alley after a shootout that allegedly led to one police injury.
