It is fourth arrest warrant issued in the case so far. One arrest warrant has been issued for the Phuket attack and the two for the attacks in Prachuap Khiri Khan’s Hua Hin district.

A source reported that the latest warrant was issued for deep South resident Hakeem Doloh on charges of possessing explosives, arson and planting a bomb.

National police deputy chief General Srivara Rangsipramanakul, the lead investigator in the case, said he and his team yesterday interviewed witnesses to confirm suspects’ identities in the Tesco fire, resulting in Hakeem’s arrest warrant. Srivara told reporters that the probe into the Tesco fire had identified four culprits.

Srivara – who on Thursday interviewed several witnesses who talked with four suspects in the Trang bombing – planned to apply for another arrest warrant from the Military Court of 43rd Military Circle in Nakhon Si Thammarat’s Thung Song district yesterday for a suspect connected to the attack in that province.

People with information about suspects seen in photographs and CCTV footage in relation to the Lee Mart supermarket fire bomb attack in Trang are urged to alert police.

It was reported that on August 10 the four suspects divided into two groups of two and planted one bomb at the Centre Point afternoon market and another at Lee Mart before regrouping at a mosque and travelling to a bus station and returning to Songkhla’s Hat Yai district.

Srivara is leading the investigation into the August 11-12 attacks, which resulted in four people being killed and 35 wounded.
