THE PATTANI Provincial Court issued an arrest warrant yesterday for Hakeem Doloh for his alleged involvement in the August 23 car bomb attack at a hotel in Pattani’s Muang district that killed one person and injured 30.
Pattani police chief Maj-General Thanongsak Wangsupa said Hekeem would be charged with premeditated murder, attempted murder, terrorism, possession of an explosive without permission, detonating the bomb and racketeering. He added that police had solid evidence against Hakeem including CCTV footage and witness testimony.
The 32-year-old Pattani native is also among five suspects wanted for the spate of arson and bombing attacks in seven provinces known for tourism on August 11 and 12, which killed four people and wounded dozens. August 12 is Mother’s Day in Thailand.
Hakeem is accused of carrying out the fire-bomb attack at a Tesco Lotus mall in Nakhon Si Thammarat on August 11.
