Me Infinity (Thailand) launches a food supplement to boost brain and eye health
THE IMPORTANCE of maintaining good physical and mental health is today recognised all over the world and Thais are certainly no exception to that rule.
A controlled and healthy diet, regular exercise and adequate rest are, of course, the best way to keep in good shape but the stresses and strains of the urban lifestyle are such that many people are looking for a little more help.
And Me Infinity (Thailand), which bills itself as a product developer for modern people, has come up with that help through its new food supplement under the brand “I-Dee”. Aimed at sharpening both the brain and the eyes, the product was launched recently at a celebrity-studded event during which the first brand ambassador – publicist and event organiser Sombatsara “Tue” Teerasaroch – was introduced.
“The number of health-conscious consumers is growing steadily,” noted Salilaporn “Mui” Kongthongmaneeroj, Me Infinity (Thailand)’s chief executive. “We have been specialising in herbal medicine for more than 40 years and have brought this expertise to I-Dee, which is a food supplement that is good for the brain and the eyes and is perfect for professional people who want to take care of themselves. We have invited Sombatsara Teerasaroch to be our brand ambassador as his career involves both a lot of brain work and using his eyes. He is perfect to represent I-Dee.”
Sombatsara agreed. “I am always thinking and examining drawings so as I grow older, I feel I need some help. Mui and I have known each other a long time and I was delighted to give I-Dee a try. And it works,” he said.
Celebrities attending the event included Intira Thanavisuth, Korn Narongdej, Kanyarat Akradejdechachai, Polpat Asavaprapha, Sikanya Saktidej Bhanubandh, Akarat Vanarat, Tirawan Taechaubol, Alisa Phanthusak, Pattharapol Puengboonpra, Kongthanatkhun Setthisathaphon, Saranthorn Techapaiboon, Kullawit Laosuksri, Jittima Wattanasin, Sitamanin Susamawattanakul Poonsapmanee, Milin Yuvacharuskul, Anisha Attaskulchai, Thanwalai Vacharaphol and Krit Jirakiatwattana.
The guest of honour was Dr Sompoch Nipakanont, founder of Elite Life Integrated Medical Centre, who spoke about how to nurture brains and eyes.
“We can take care of our brains and eyes in our daily routine from waking up to going to bed. We should start by not overusing our eyes and ensuring we have an adequate intake of vitamin A, which is available in fish oil, as well as vitamins D, E, and K. Bilberries, which contain anthocyanosides, also help nurture eye cells. There are lot of food supplements on the market and we must make sure we consume a reasonable quantity and choose the right products for our body. I would recommend consulting your doctor before you embark on any supplement regime.”
I-Dee is available at Tops Market as well as from Sornthep Herbal Medicine Distributor and online.
