PRIME MINISTER Prayut Chan-o-cha has submitted a revised draft constitution to His Majesty the King for royal endorsement, Deputy Prime Minister Wissanu Krea-ngam said yesterday.
Wissanu said the charter was submitted on Friday evening.
According to the post-coup interim charter, the monarch has 90 days to decide whether to endorse the draft. The deputy PM said details about the revisions, as suggested by the Palace, would be disclosed later. “I will first report to the Cabinet next week. Then details for a press conference on this matter will be determined,” Wissanu said. He said the revisions would have no impact on people in general.
