Currently, there are more than 400 PCC teams, controlled by the Public Health Ministry, that provide care, medical services and advice to local people.
Prayut was speaking at Prachinburi, during a half-day visit to observe public healthcare management, including Thai traditional medical science and Thai herbal medicine production.
He said that Prachinburi, as a hub of Thai herbs, will become a model for other provinces, namely Chiang Rai in the North, Sakon Nakhon in the Northeast and Surat Thani in the South, to develop holistic herbal marketing and research.
