Two Thai men reportedly confessed to being hired to transport the group to Nakhon Si Thammarat and Songkhla provinces for Bt1,500 per worker. They were charged with smuggling unregistered workers. Thailand Post issued a release later saying the two drivers were employees of |private subcontractors.
