More than 200 illegal Cambodian migrant workers were arrested on Sunday on a train from Bangkok bound for Aranyaprathet in Sa Kaeo as they travelled back to their home country to celebrate the Songkran Festival.
The migrants, 112 men and 92 women, reportedly travelled openly on public transportation because they wanted to be apprehended and repatriated by authorities so they did not have pay travel expenses.
