Members of the public are invited to join a fruit festival at Trat’s Koh Chang District Office, which will held until May 1 to promote the local fruits of the island district.
District chief Kamthorn Wehon said that the festival, held by the district agricultural office and Pracharat Rak Samakkee Trat Co, would highlight the province’s unique Chani durian.
Grown in volcanic soil, the fruit has a soft, rich texture and high levels of iodine and vitamin E.
