The Anti-Money Laundering Office (AMLO) is set to lease several condominium units and over 1,000 rai of empty land plots for residence and farming in various provinces.
AMLO deputy chief Pol Lt Colonel Aimorn Chaibuadaeng said on Thursday that the 115 properties that had been kept as per the Anti-Money Laundering Act 1999 and related regulations, are now available for lease.
Rental prices would differ depending on the prospected tenants’ purpose.
The residence lease would be paid on a monthly basis, while the farming lease would be paid on a yearly basis, she said adding the rental rate would be based on the local rental rate.
The empty land plots are located in Chiang Rai (8), Phetchaburi (3), Ayutthaya (2), Nakhon Phanom (60), Bangkok (2), Nonthaburi (29) and Chiang Mai (1). There is also land with buildings in Bangkok’s Bang Rak area, one condominium unit in Bang Sue and eight condominium units in Nonthaburi.
Anyone interested can bid until June 19 at the AMLO Asset Administration Division at the agency’s head office in Bangkok’s Pathumwan district or call for details at 0 2219 3600 extension 2014 during office hours, she said.
