Also on the Cabinet agenda is the Transport Ministry’s proposal for the Cabinet to approve the Bt54-billion construction of the 34.5-kilometre Skytrain route from Khae Rai to Min Buri and the Bt52-billion construction of 30.4km Lad Prao to Sam Rong route.

The construction of both routes is slated to begin in July if the Cabinet gives the green light.

The Cabinet will also consider the fishery decree draft designed to solve illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing with changes to local and commercial fishing regulations.

Ministers will also reconsider the previous Cabinet’s resolution on the community housing development project in Khlong Toei district in Bangkok that would involve the Port Authority allocating vacant flats for its officials for others to live in.
