The government has begun receiving answers to the four questions relating to the election process that were posed by Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha.
It began receiving the answers at Damrongtham centers nationwide on Monday.
People are being given two pages to answer the questions.
On his weekly TV program on Friday night, Prayut asked Thais this:
Do they think the next election will deliver the country a government with good governance?
If that does not happen, what would individual Thais do?
Elections are an integral part of democracy but are elections that do not consider the country’s future and others right or wrong?
Do Thais think bad politicians should be given a chance to re-enter politics. And if conflict re-emerges, who would solve it and by what means?
People must present their ID cards at the centres.
