Cabinet members joining the premier on the trip are Deputy Prime Minister Admiral Narong Phiphatthanasai, Interior Minister Anupong Phaochinda, Agriculture and Cooperatives Minister General Chatchai Sarikalya, Science and Technology Minister Atchaka Sibunrueng, Education Minister Theerakiat Charoensetthasil, PM’s Office Minister Suwit Mesinsee and Secretary-General to the Prime Minister General Wilas Arunsri, according to Thai National News Bureau.

Several officials will be delivering a special lecture on driving the Thailand 4.0 plan in the northeastern region.

The Cabinet will observe the Khon Kaen University Research and Innovation for Thailand 4.0 exhibition to support technological economic development, innovation, creativity, and higher education institutions in the Northeast which are conducting academic research projects in accordance with the Thailand 4.0 plan.

The PM will also follow up on the government’s urgent policy to promote large-scale farming through the cooperative system of the province and other agricultural development to reduce production costs, upgrade agricultural standards and strengthen agricultural institutions.
