Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn on Monday chaired a religious ceremony to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the Supreme Patriarch at the Ubosot of Ratchabhopit Temple.
The Princess attended the event on behalf of His Majesty the King. In the morning, Supreme Patriarch Somdet Phra Ariyavongsagatayan, who turned 90 on Monday, received the alms along with 181 other monks from crowds of people.
The Princess arrived at 5.30pm, with Prime Minister Prayut Chanocha present, and chaired the ceremony.
