Nine artists who have completed an international residence programne at Vermont Studio Centre in the US showcase their works in “Crossing the Dateline” running at the Bangkok Art and Cultural Centre through June 4.

As the exhibition name implies, the theme is time and travelling, with the artists reflecting on such concepts as a gain of 10 nanoseconds when flying eight hours in a plane that reaches cruising speeds of 920 kilometres per hour.

The works transcend the boundary of time, perception and belief as they attempt to understand current incidents.
