Thailand hosts Asean Cooling Summit

Thailand is hosting the Association of South East Asian Nations (Asean) Cooling Summit on January 29 in Bangkok.
Regional leaders will discuss the environmental impact of cooling in developing economies in order to identify solutions, organisers said.
Scientists have predicted that by 2040, the use of air-conditioning in the developing world will spur a 64 per cent increase in home energy consumption.
