By The Nation
The Nation is introducing a new Weekend edition to meet your reading fulfilment as the world becomes more complex, propelled by generational and technological shifts.
The Nation’s Weekend edition will serve both Saturdays and Sundays, starting July 7. The content will be upgraded with more analyses, lifestyle and entertainment articles to reflect the changing media landscape and how news is consumed by readers. With this, we will have more updates through multiple digital channels “anytime and anywhere” via the website http://www.nationmultimedia.com, nationnews on Twitter and The Nation Facebook.
The Weekend edition will be comprehensive with clarity on Thailand’s political outlook as we head towards a new national election; business news as it matters to you; and changing trends in culture, arts, environment and technology. We will expand the relevance of regional news and features as Thailand becomes further integrated into the Asian economies.
A redesigned front page will take a different tack, with comprehensive and exclusive reports presented with data and easily understood infographics. Our comments and editorials will continue to be frank and fearless, carrying the flag as Thailand’s premier independent news media.
A “CSR page” is being introduced to reflect the work being done in the interests of society by conscientious community members. Our “Explore pages” will offer a window to the world and help readers decide on their local and international travel plans. Content on gadgets, sports, automobiles, technology, innovations, start-ups, entertainment and events in town are all included to make it a comprehensive package.
On the digital side, http://www.nationmultimedia.com will complement the print version as Thailand’s No 1 news portal. With more than 200 news items posted daily, the service will be apt for web, mobile, and social media readers on the move, or those needing an instant connection.
