At the opening ceremony on Saturday, Thailand Post president Samorn Therdthamphiboon said people could visit the exhibition every day from Tuesday to Sunday until October 31 and admission is free.

The exhibition titled “135 years of Thai postal service…we’ve come so far yet remain near to one another” will be closed on Mondays and public holidays.

She also invited people and stamp collectors to purchase four commemorative stamps to mark its 135th anniversary. The special stamps sell for Bt3 each and feature water-colour paintings of an on-duty postman with the backdrop of the central post office in each era.
