His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn lights candles at the Amarin Winitchai Throne Hall in the Grand Palace on Thursday to mark his father King Rama IX’s birthday.
His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej was born on December 5, 1927 and passed away on October 13, 2016. Also present at the ceremony were HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and the King’s daughters Princess Bajrakitiyabha and Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana.
