2018 inflation within target: ministry

Last month inflation rose by 0.36 per cent boosting the country’s overall inflation for 2018 to 1.07 per cent, according to the Commerce Ministry.
The ministry forecast an inflation target of between 0.8-1.6 per cent.
The inflation was affected by rising energy costs, rents and agricultural prices, the ministry said.
