STATE UNITS Contribution to Finance 25 per cent over target

State enterprises handed back Bt65.51 billion to the Finance Ministry in the first quarter of this fiscal year (October to December 2018), representing a rise of over 26 per cent from the target, Prapas Kong-Ied, director general of State Enterprise Policy Department of Finance Ministry said yesterday.

The top five contributors were Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand, Government Lottery Office, PTT Plc, Government Saving Bank, and Provincial Electricity Authority. All of them send money worth Bt52.99 billion to the Finance Ministry or about 81 per cent of total money that send by state enterprises in the first quarter of this fiscal year, he said.
