KRC expects no rate change from US Fed this week

Kasikorn Research Centre believes that the first meeting of US Federal Reserve this year, to be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, will maintain the federal funds rate at 2.25-2.5 per cent at a time when the US economy is still showing strong growth.
Meanwhile, current interest rates at the country’s banks are likely to stay within the Fed’s target range of between 2.5 per cent and 3.5 per cent, KRC said on Monday.
