The Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) board has given the green light for CP Group to develop the planned Bt149.95-billion high-speed rail route linking the international airports of Suvarnbhumi, Don Mueang and U-tapao, board secretary Kanit Sangsubhan announced on Monday.
The EEC board will submit its proposal to award the contract to the Thai conglomerate for Cabinet approval on May 28, he added.
