Following the interest rate cut, the bank’s minimum retail rate reduced from 7 per cent to 6.87 per cent a year, while the minimum overdraft rate also fell from 7 per cent to 6.87 per cent.

GSB will, however, maintain its deposit interest rate, the bank’s president and chief executive officer, Chatchai Payuhanaveechai, said on Thursday.
