The Stock Exchange of Thailand and Bank of Thailand are monitoring the volatile market closely as the US-China trade war intensifies further, Deputy Prime Minister Somkid Jatusripitak said on Monday (August 26).
He urged investors not to panic, noting that stock markets worldwide are experiencing the same volatility due to the escalating trade war.
The SET Index closed its morning trading session at 1,611.77, falling 2.12 per cent.
